In collaboration with DBO Home, our best selling Hinoki fragrance is now available in a limited edition 5.3 oz porcelain Stucco Tea Cup.

HINOKI - An intriguing and interestingly rich and resinous wood aroma, Hinoki has a distinctive brightness that other woody aromas lack. We’ve designed our fragrance with a soft blue cypress, gentle rose, yuzu citrus and over a dozen essential oils to balance this clean, fresh, and welcoming aroma.

Hinoki is a cypress evergreen tree native to Japan. It has a notably unique, fresh and clean aroma that is often used in hot spring baths, and is very suitable for bath, spa, meditation settings. We found a certified sustainable source of Hinoki wood essential oil to ensure the protection of this nearly endangered, beautiful fine aromatic wood.

Burn Time: Up to 32 hours

Make sure you have enough time for your candle's initial burn. Your first burn should be up to 3 - 3.5 hours, or until a full melt pool has formed. The first and every burn should melt the wax to the edge of the container, ensuring that as your candle melts it does so evenly down the glass.

Trim candle wicks to 1/4 inch before every burn. Long, or crooked untrimmed wicks can cause uneven burning, or your candle to burn too quickly, produce soot, and can reduce the fragrance.

DBO Home's ceramics are handcrafted from durable, high quality porcelain. Their glazes are food safe and lead free. Their porcelain pieces are dishwasher and safe. Although all of their pieces are dishwasher safe, hand washing will prolong the life cycle of your pottery. Dirt, stains, and metal marks from silverware (due to the ceramic being harder than the metal) particularly on their matte and semi-matte glazes, can be removed with Bar Keeper’s Friend, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, or baking soda mixed with a bit of warm water.

A NOTE FROM DBO HOME

We love simple shapes and clean lines, but texture is key for us. Our original piece was wheel-thrown, then layered with soft slip to create a stucco effect. A clear gloss highlights the texture. After meeting Stephen and Alice of Wndrmade at Field + Supply and falling in love with their candles, we adapted one of our bowl designs to create the perfect vessel for their clean, delicious scents.
