Isa is a Union City, NJ based ceramicist with a background in industrial design. She started working with clay back in 2016 as a self-taught hobby, while working for BDDW in Philadelphia. Since then, she has worked with small shops, made commissions for individuals, and collaborated with other brands. Her predominantly functional work is rooted in a strong appreciation for craftsmanship and japanese/scandinavian design. She appreciates the fluidity of clay as a material, and still enjoys prototyping new forms and employing different production techniques, such as slip casting and jiggering.
